Justis Greene

Justis Greene is a Canadian film and television producer from Vancouver, British Columbia. He began his career in the film industry as a member of the IATSE 891's Lighting Department, and Business Representative for the union IATSE Local 891. On August 2. 1977, the B.C. Film Promotion Office (now Creative BC Film Commission) was established under the Ministry of Tourism and Small Business. In June 1978, while working on Orchard Children, then Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism Grace McCarthy approached him about taking over the Commission as its new director. On July 1st 1978, Greene took over the position of head of the B.C. Film Promotion Office. He held the position until 1982, when he left to get married, and work on Fred Schepisi's Iceman.
