Christy Cheung Wing-Yin

March 15, 1984 — Hong Kong

Christy Cheung Wing-Yin, was born in Hong Kong to a family of filmmakers. In 1998, she participated in Andrew Lau's 'Young and Dangerous: The Prequel'. In 1999, at the age of 14, she auditioned for 'Spacked Out' at Milky Way Image through a friend's introduction and was eventually chosen by director Lawrence Ah-Mon to play the role of 'Sissy'. Assistant Director Andy Tse (Four Tse Liu-Shut) was most impressed with her performance, feeling that she was the most energetic of the four main actors and completely brought 'Sissy' to life without a script. After 'Spacked Out' was released in theaters in 2000, she was invited by many directors to participate in more films. In 2001, after participating in several films, she faded from the spotlight. Her last film appearance was in 'Gangs 2001' .
