Ahmed Tawfiq

Ahmed Tawfik is an Egyptian actor and director, his real name is (Ahmed Mahmoud Tawfik), he was born in 1933, he obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Dramatic Arts and also studied Law and Arts. The director Salah Abu Seif discovered him and presented him for the first time through a small role in the movie ( There is no time for love), then the movie (Cairo 30) in 1966, after which his works continued between cinema and television, known for (Miramar, Barefoot on the Gold Bridge, Something of Fear, Gossip over the Nile, The Captain), and besides acting, he worked in directing Television series, and among the series that he directed: (The only witness, I will not live in my father's jilbab, Al-Hassan Al-Basri, Omar bin Abdul Aziz). He died in 2005 of heart disease.
