Nicholas G. Sims

September 24, 1998 — Mobile, Alabama, USA

Nicholas G. Sims is one of the most promising young actors to emerge out of Brooklyn. In addition to Mike Flynn's EAST NEW YORK premiering on CBS mid October, Sims will appear on the final season of WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA, directed by Matthew Ross, due out next year. He'll also be seen as the lead in the award winning psychological French new wave short film, WET SEAL CIGARETTES, in the coming year.

Sims was born and raised in Mobile, AL with a very rigid upbringing. He is a classically trained actor in which he is very in sync with his feelings and impulses. His approach to the craft comes from a very raw and spiritual place that makes his art very authentic. Sims also has spent a lot of time training with the world renowned acting teacher, Larry Moss.

Sims was a highly recruited running-back coming out of Murphy High school. He signed with the University of Toledo in 2017 and ended up transferring winter of 2018 to Indiana State University. Though heavily invested in football his true calling was always in the arts. He decided to then walk away from the game. Sims attended Morehouse college furthering his education by obtaining his BFA in acting.

His wide range will take him very far. He loves God, his family, and has a very servant heart.
