Selim Çotal

Selim Cotal was born in Eskilstuna, Sweden. Cotal is a Turkish-Swedish director of photography known for his work on A House Plant Named Yasemin (2019). Cotal started his career as a web developer. Later on, because of his interest in movies and filmmaking, he decided to pursue the art of cinematography. Cotal started shooting music videos and various projects for artists. Cotal finds himself traveling back and forth between Stockholm and Istanbul for projects. Cotal is also the creator of Mr. Cinematography which is a website for cinematographers.
