Eleanor Cho

Eleanor Cho is a Korean American filmmaker and graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts. She is dedicated to writing and directing stories of underrepresented communities, and highlighting the extraordinary stories of ordinary people.

Her award-winning short films have screened at film festivals around the world such as the Transatlantyk Film Festival in Poland, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Boston Asian American Film Festival, NFFTY and more.

She worked as a Writers’ Production Assistant on a new HBO show, THE NEVERS, created by Joss Whedon. She is part of Creative Visions’ Women Excel Project 2018, Visual Communications’ Armed with a Camera Fellowship 2019 and a Top 10 Finalist for the ABC Women’s Production Initiative.

She recently was selected to be a part of the 2021 Werner Herzog Film Accelerator in the Colombian jungle where she will be making a short film under Werner Herzog’s guidance. She is also a finalist for NBC Writers on the Verge 2021.
