She is a Mexican feminist documentarian, a graduate of the Master's in Documentary Film at the National School of Cinematographic Arts at UNAM, and has a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the same university. She currently co-directs the production company Bandada Films. Her debut film, "Ahora que estamos juntas" ("Now That We Are Together"), won two awards at the 2022 Morelia International Film Festival: the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature and the MUSA Award given by the Women in Film and Television Association for Best Documentary Feature Directed by a Woman. She has dedicated herself to audiovisual production with a community and academic focus at the Federal Ministry of Culture, at FARO Aragón, and at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology of CONACyT.
