Berke Ham was born in 2003 in Istanbul. Berke, who began to take an interest in cinema at a young age, spent a significant portion of his childhood capturing what he saw with the video camera he held in his hand. Moving to Edirne at the age of 10, Berke later returned to Istanbul with the desire to receive a cinema education, choosing to major in Film Design and Management at the university. He had his first experience with a short film whilst in preparatory class, creating and directing Red Major ½. A year later, he wrote and directed a sequel titled Blue Minor. Berke focuses on the individual, the struggles of the individual, and the gradual dissolution of the individual due to these struggles in the works he produces. Studying Film Design and Management at Marmara University, Berke continues to engage in production with a team working on alternative and experimental cinema.
