Nikolopoulou Chrysoula is a graduate of the English Language and Literature Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004) and holder of a master's degree entitled "European Literature and Culture", (2008). She lives in Thessaloniki and has worked as a teacher of English language in primary schools since 2005. During the last years, she has been a member of the 6th Intercultural Primary School of Eleftherio-Kordelio.
For her, cinema as a means of communication of stories through images is an alternative educational tool that reinforces her pursuit of creative and innovative education.
Although she has been actively involved in the creation of short films for educational activities in the recent past, (“An Ithaca A synchronous, 2021” – “A little.. very little trip!, 2022”), the film “Elizabethan Theatre” is her first filming attempt under her sole responsibility.
The film “Elizabethan Theatre” won the 2nd Animation Award at the 13th International Student Short Film Competition “Cinema… Have You Read?”, the “Best Animated Film Award” for films created by children under 12 years of age at the Moscow International Children’s Film Festival and received a distinction at the 17th International Animart Festival 2023, among other official selections.
Currently, the film “Elizabethan Theatre” has been selected to be screened in several festivals around the world.
