The film is a celebration of the inherent dramatism and queerness of Southeast Asia history, as well as a wonderful exploration of the trope of found family. The characters are hilarious, complex and so well-explored within a short runtime; at first glance, the titular character (as advertised) is a silly babygirl, and over time, we get to see the nuance in every interaction! The dynamics are absolutely insane, everybody is so different and yet, their relationships manage to bring out the best in each other. Overall, fantastic writing, amazing creative direction, 100/10 would recommend
