Colin Fink's: The Giving Tree
"...and the tree was happy"
A short film version of Shel Silverstein's 1964 book with the same title. The film is entirely composed of appropriated public domain footage from online sources such as Prelinger Internet Archive or POND5 and is accompanied by a faithful narration (additionally sourced via Prelinger) that is stripped directly from the book. Created in February 2024 for the ADVANCED EDITING course at the University of Pittsburgh.
