The failed documentary film maker Lukas Schmidt interviews the successful writer Agnes Lehner in a hotel room. As a past acquaintance between them is revealed, different accounts of a traumatic event are mixed with lies and deceit, leading to dire consequences.
In an age with no shortage of big productions, huge budgets and endless CGI eye-candy, it is a delight to be reminded of what amazing things can be accomplished with a hotel room, two good actors and a good script.
Unfortunately, there not many things I can write in this review without spoiling the film. I recommend that you just go at it without any assumptions or expectations and you will be surprised at the result.
