In the north of Chad, in the heart of the Sahara Desert, lies a forgotten mountain massif, which shelters, in its secret canyons, a surprising richness of plants and animals.
Inspired by the expedition of professor Hubert Gillet to the Ennedi Plateau fifty years ago the movie follow his steps searching for sources of water and remains of nature in this region before it was a desert. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the Bideyats, an nomad group that breeds camels and know the routes to hidden sources of water. It is a movie with a modest production and a simple script, but very poetic!
