Reflection is a short film that reflects how others see us in relation to who we actually are, and that nobody is or ever will be perfect in others' eyes. As Lamis closes her eyes she realizes that everything that happens in her head isn't true, and that she shouldn't compare herself to other people, and not everything we see is the truth.
**Make the world a better place!**
In "Reflection" the young team around Kasem M. Raad is addressing big items like respect, tolerance and expectations of others in a 5-minute short film.
In linking this sensitively to the personal experience of the main character in the film, the film doesn't provide answers, but it provides a trigger to "reflect" on these topics yourself. I really liked the message of this film and the way the topic was approached.
If more people would be "reflecting" on such issues, the world would become a better place.
The entire production, marketing and communication around the release is all very professional. The film itself is also very well well produced. Kasem demonstrates his great skills as a cameraman and editor here too. Very high quality production.
Great respect and kudos also goes to Lamis Hafiz for her personal script and disarming appearance in the film.
Watch out for the name Kasem M. Raad and his young company K Produktions as there is no doubt that we will hear more from him in the future!
