In 1973, Hilmar Reksten was the world's largest shipowner. His ship sailed under the Norwegian flag even though many other shipowners had long ago flagged out. Reksten's life was like a Greek tragedy; the boy from poor conditions who wanted to be the greatest in the world, and became so. Just to see his life's work dissolved and destroyed.
