Film maker Petter Nyquist voluntarily leave his family to live like a homeless for six months amongst the homeless in the winter cold city streets of Oslo.
Petters time on the streets is nearing its end, but first he spends a day with Caraman, the leader of the largest group of Roma people in Norway, who lives in a shed at Nordstrand. He celebrates New Year's Eve together with Jonna and Christer heading out on their adventure of a lifetime. But parting with Svein offers unexpected challenges.
